Located in the south of Thailand, Chumphon is known for coral reefs and a long coastline dotted with beaches. So if you’re looking to live and teach near a beach (it’s 20 minutes from the school), Chumphon is the place for you. Here’s what to expect.
THE JOB
Teach in Chumphon
This position is with a kindergarten, teaching small classes of 10 students per class. Besides English, you will also teach other subjects, like basic science, PE, and math.
What to expect
40,000 Baht per month
22-25 hours per week
Work Monday – Friday from 07:30-16:30
Accommodation is provided, but you’ll need to pay 4000-5000 Baht/month in rent
ELIGIBILITY
Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible to apply, you’ll need to:
Be a native or proficient English speaker
Hold a bachelors degree (in any subject)
Have the funds to pay for the program and associated costs
HOW IT WORKS
The Program
If there’s one thing for sure, it’s that you should never have to pay to work. And with us you won’t have to; but, to be able to offer the support, guidance, training, and resources we’re known for, we require all participants to pay a program service fee.
Program Fee
We charge a one-off support fee of £630 (£550 if you already have a TEFL certificate) to cover the expenses of the program inclusions.
Inclusions
The program fee includes support from the moment you apply to the end of your placement in getting a visa, finding a job, and settling in.
